"Below" on this page CAMP AT MAPLE RIDGE Gus is offering his 10'x12' Cabin-on-the-Bluff with twin bunk bed. Enjoy a rustic walk-in camp site in safety and comfort. We're opening a motel room for toilet and shower facilities, as well as the Guest Kitchen, as part of the package. $25 per night. Bring your own camping gear, bedding and towels.

We're situated on a short feeder trail that hooks up with snowmobile trails 1 & 8 and has snowmobile access to Lake Gogebic.
There is a good variety of dining establishments throughout the area. Diesel fuel is available in Bergland Please remember we are on Eastern Time here. One hour later than Central. Our answering machine picks up after 10 p.m. EST.

MAPLE RIDGE MOTEL: Is now SMOKE FREE Maple Ridge is an ultra-clean mom & pop motel with lots of amenities. Each room has: + Small refrigerator + Full sized coffee maker with fixings + Air Conditioning + Cable TV & DVD player + FREE wireless Internet Service! + rollaway cot + linens & towels + More Room #1 has a Queen sized log bed & a cot (sleeps up to 3 people), Rooms #2-6 have 2 double beds & cot. photos below:
Pets are permitted in room #6 only. In warm weather, relax beside our pond and waterfall feature, located at the head of our walking trails behind the motel. Our 25+ wooded acres with trails adjoin forest land. There is a multi-purpose building on site. A portion of the building is dedicated to a Community Guest Kitchen, open for your convenience 24 hours a day. The storefront portion is dedicated to Fish Taxidermy, Guide Services and rentals, and Gus' Stump Grinding. We love living here "in God's Country" and enjoy sharing this experience with our guests. We have made it our business to provide you with a clean, comfortable room and will offer any assistance we can, to make your stay a pleasant one. Please help us to make this possible by reading and following the policies below. MOTEL RATES, per night (effective May 1, 2010)
Payment is generally expected at check-in. The exception to this is for After-Hours arrivals. After 10 p.m. ET you may use our self-serve check-in. Follow the brief, posted instructions and payment may be made in the morning between 8-11 a.m. ET. Pet Rates & Policy: Pets are permitted only in Room #6. Room rate for pets is $10 per pet per night (maximum 2) Pets must be supervised at all times -Pet owners accept responsibility for all damages -Pets shall not cause disturbance -Pets will not be allowed on our bedding (pet bedding is available on request). A fee of $50 + any damages, will be charged for unauthorized pets. Check-in after 2 p.m. EST Check out by 11 a.m. EST Late arrivals may use self-serve check in. Departure after 11 a.m. Eastern Time will be charged for an additional night lodging. Cancellations: No charge, if notice is received at least 7 days prior to expected arrival date. If notice is received within 7 days of expected arrival, there will be a charge equal to one night lodging at 2 person rate. During the Christmas / New Years period, and for the HOG-A-THON, rooms shall be pre-paid. NO REFUND FOR EARLY DEPARTURES. NO SHOWS (and Arrival day cancellations) WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL NIGHTS RESERVED Smoking Policy: Indoor smoking is permitted in the garage/air lock only. A fee of $100 + any damages will be charged for unauthorized smoking in rooms. This fee includes extensive cleaning and 1 night lost revenue. Motel rooms are designated by Bergland Township as "sleeping units". No hazardous materials may be stored in rooms. This includes (but is not limited to) gasoline, propane, oil, power augers, trolling motors, and any other equipment containing these materials / fuels. These items may be stored in your vehicle or in our garage, though we do not accept responsibility for lost or damaged belongings. Cooking is prohibited in "sleeping units", however, we do provide a coffee maker and beverage refrigerator in your room, for your convenience. Please use the Guest Kitchen for your cooking and dining needs. Carpet cleaning Fee: While normal wear and tear is understandable and expected, use normal precautions in avoiding carpet stains. Should the carpet in your room require steam cleaning (as opposed to spot cleaning), as the result of your stay, you will be required to pay the cost of cleaning, which will be not less than $75. This fee includes general steam cleaning and 1 night lost revenue. Extensive carpet soiling is considered "damage". (Note: if your boots are dirty, consider removing them before tracking across the carpets). Most of you (courteous folks that you are) really don't need to be told all of this stuff.
